Welcoming Spring & Summer

These are pictures of Clay on the evening of June 4th. We were having fun at the house.

We needed to return the camera to Grandaddy and Meme so I (Tracy) snapped a few pictures, uploaded these to the blog site, and then cleaned off the card.

Clay's new thing is taking a bath in the big sink. It is a lot of fun and saves a trip upstairs to the bathroom.

Emma Kate and her parents came over one evening for a short visit and these are just a couple of pictures of them outside. They are best friends.

This is Clay trying to help me sort out my coupons. He moved the majority of my coupons from my bag to his shopping cart.

Finally! Landscaping. Because the plants are small, it is hard to tell much about it. But, with the warm weather and plenty of water, they are really growing.

One day we got home from school and I put Clay in his little pool. He had his diaper on for a while but it got so big that it had to come off. Don't worry, no one can see into our yard.

This pool works better on the dirt. But, it is fun.

We made a quick trip down to Florida for a family reunion. This is Clay with his cousin Destiney.

(lots of duplicate pictures.)

At the reunion.

Easter and Spring Break

Clay wore a sailor outfit for "Easter" Resurrection Sunday.

It was a good day in all aspects. We went to church and then myself (Tracy), Clay, Meme, and Granddaddy hit the road to go see family in Florida. We didn't have church Sunday night and Monday began spring break so the timing was perfect for a quick trip. Brad stayed behind because of work and turkey hunting.

Clay was peeping around the chair to see where his Granddaddy was at. And, he found him!

This is Clara and Clay riding in the wagon at Clara and Ellen's house.

Earlier that same day we went to the park.

This was an airplane they rode on.

Here are the girls. They stopped for a quick second to smile for the camera but not long enough to wait on Clay to get in the picture with them.

He crawled and walked all over that play set. And yes, he is walking now. Walking quite well.

Clay went down the big slide with Mom Supervision.

Granddaddy with his three grands.

Clara was posing for the camera here. It was too cute.

They were really having fun here, although it doesn't really show.

The Saturday before Easter, Emma Kate had her first birthday party.
It was a Mad Hatter Tea Party and lots of fun.

Emma figured since most guys don't like tea parties, that a round
of golf would be something they could do while the girls sipped tea.
Clay is already showing signs of being an All Star Golfer, just like his dad.

Spring Break, Easter, the tea party . . . we had a good week.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

The week-end of March 20th. We were
outside all afternoon enjoying the warm
day, working, and having some fun too.
Clay loves to play in the dirt, ride the tractor,
and get on and off the golf cart.

March Update

The past month or so has been very busy. Here is a brief update of a few of the events in our life.
This is a picture of Clay on his 14 month birthday.
No, he isn't walking yet. He figures, "Why walk??? I have my entire life to walk. And, I can get where I want to go crawling or being carried."

Ellen and Clara came to visit with their mom and dad on the week-end of March 12th.
If you can't tell, these two are sisters.

This is the three
of them at Meme's
and Granddaddy's
house.

This is a picture of Clay finding new places to explore at the house.

We got plants the week-end of Feb. 12th. There were
lots of holes to be dug, plants to plant, and pine straw
to put down.

Clay observed much of the work from his wagon.

This is Saturday, 2-13-10. It snowed the night before and this was the remains the next morning. (You can see the man placing the plants in the background.)

RT's onion field across from our driveway.

The night of the 12th.
It was so pretty and peaceful.

Feb 12th, Clay's 13 month birthday. It snowed just for him.
